Narita International Airport - Museum of Japanese History:

We recommend to use Keisei Line, if you are going directly to the Museum from the airport. It will take about 20 min from Narita Air Port Station to Keisei-Sakura Station. Any of Limited Express, Rapid or Local train can be taken for 450 JPY. Do not use SkyLiner.

From Keisei Sakura Station, you can walk for 15 min to the Museum, or 5 min walk from "Kokuritsu Hakubutsukan" bus stop (bus schedule from the Keisei Sakura Station in the table below). Please remember, you will walk a sloping road for the last 5 min to the Museum. If you have huge baggage, it will be a good idea to leave it in your hotel or take taxi to the Museum. Summer in Japan is very hot.

Narita International Airpot - Wishton Hotel Yukari:

Most of foreign participants stay in Wishton Hotel Yukari, that is connected to Yukari-gaoka station. If you are going directly to the hotel from the airport, it will take about 30 min by Keisei Line for 560 JPY. We recommend to use Limited express train from Narita Airport Station to Narita or Sakura Station, and change to Rapid or Local trains which stop at the Yukari-gaoka station.

Wishton Hotel Yukari - Museum of Japanese History:

Pickup buses will be prepared morning and evening between the hotel and the museum. Using Keisei Line, it is only one stop and takes 10 min between Yukari-gaoka and Keisei Sakura Station for 190 JPY.

Tokyo area - Museum of Japanese History:

Mostly, it will take more than 60 min from down town Tokyo to the Museum. Getting off at Keisei Sakura Station is more convenient than JR Sakura to go to the Museum. If you are a walking lover, please try 30 min walk between JR Sakura and the Museum (walking map in the web site). You can visit Botanical Garden of Everyday-Life.
